Kings are Kings

Mike, 30 May 2002

Kings are going all the way to the top. No matter what happens anywhere else in the world, I will be watching the Kings beat the Lakers on friday night. Unless of course someone shoots me. In which case I will have to beat them down first before watching the Kings beat down the Lakers in game 6.

Carry On, Soldier

Andy, 29 May 2002

The deadline on my programming assignment got pushed back 2 days, so I’ve regained the will to live. As soon as I go turn this muthafuckin’ essay in, I’m coming back and taking a 6 hour nap.

Bedtime = 5:45am. Ugh.

Homework Always Rains on my Parade

Andy, 27 May 2002

This weekend has been great. Aquariums, BBQs, all kinds of fun. Now I have to do homework. FUCK.

Bad Movies

Mike, 21 May 2002

Ok, so lately I have not updated anything, but how about this? New spring cam archive, and this:

Spiderman is a good film, with awesome special effects and character portrayal. The movie also is fairly true to the actual series.

Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones got some mixed feelings out of me. The effects and action sequences were amazing, the battles between the jedi and the clones and the droid armies are awesome. The movie overall is about as good as Episode I: The Phantom Menace, except that the little kid feel that was apparent in the first film has been replaced with a weakly portrayed love story between Padme and Anakin Skywalker.

p.s. KINGS RULE

Keep it Comin’

Andy, 18 May 2002

Sungod was rad, Cake was rad, parties were rad, and after-show burritos at La Posta were rad. Basically, everything about Friday was awesome.

Also, I’ve added another cam gallery, check it out!

Here Comes a Tidal Wave of Booze

Andy, 15 May 2002

Sungod Festival is this Friday! Woooooo! Free concert with Cake, No Use For A Name and Knoc-turn’al, and the whole campus is going to be alive with inebriation and debauchery all day long! SWEET FUCKING SHIT, this is going to rock!

Afterglow

Andy, 12 May 2002

Mmmm, last night was amazing. Thanks to all who participated.

Now, everyone needs to help me come up with a name for my new pride and joy—that’s right, I bought a Sector 9 Cosmic2, and holy shit it’s fun. Stay tuned for photos my new baby.

It’s a Two-Digit Number

Andy, 11 May 2002

Today & tonight = good. That is all.

PS: Spiderman doesn’t shoot web from his wrists, he uses specially-engineered cartridges that he wears as part of his costume—it doesn’t come from his body. Hollywood sucks.

Lost Again

Mike, 8 May 2002

Well it seems that no matter what I do I can never beat my nemesis enigma. I only got three and one half hours of sleep last night because I was studying for a physics midterm that was entirely too easy. And right now, I wish I were dead.

Crazy Napping Skills

Andy, 7 May 2002

I got three hours of sleep last night (and not much more the night before), so I took the day off work and used my time between classes to take a five hour nap. Mmmmmm.

Cam Crap

Andy, 4 May 2002

Holy crap, I updated my cam archives with three new galleries! Go check them out, we’ve got some glowstick fun in there.

Things to Put in My Face

Andy, 3 May 2002

I bought a couple of new eyebrow rings yesterday from a dirty ex-hippie stoner who had one too many bad acid trips to hold a regular job — he was part of the merchant fair that assembles on Library Walk twice a quarter, hawking their weird trinkets or cell phones or shoes or handbags or backpacks or jewelery. Anyway, this is what they look like:

Stud
Ring

I like the first one better, since I dig the “evil horns” look. The ring is big and bulky, so I’ll only save it for special occasions, like when I need to cross a bridge but the only way the Billy Goats Gruff will let me cross it is if I have a black metal ring inserted in my face.

Oh, and in continuing news:
Damnit.

Fanimecon

Mike, 2 May 2002

Speaking of japanese.

I attended Fanimecon last saturday, it was the first anime convention I have ever been to. It was pretty cool though, I bought hella rad posters and video tapes for $2 each. I suggest anyone who is interested in anime to attend a con in their life time so that everyone can see all the other pale, unshaven old guys wearing trenchcoats.

Stupid, Vague Blog Post
