The latest trend: little asian girls on skateboards. What? Did I miss something here? I saw like 6 or 7 of them on my way back from class!
From what I’ve seen, they do one of two things:
a. They suck. Bad.
b. They carry their skateboard around but never actually step on it or attempt to ride it.
All hope is lost.
Now, to be fair, I have nothing against the fact that these girls are asian. I’ve seen a few white girls on boards too, and they suck just as bad. I was just stricken by the fact that all of the girls I saw today with boards were asian, so it was worth mentioning.

We saw Weird Al at the Sick and Twisted Animation Festival last night, Troy even got his photo taken with him. Weird Al is a tool. The animation was great though, lots of violence and utterly depraved humor. Mmmmm.
In other news, SoulSeek is the greatest P2P program ever—I just got 4 gigs of MP3s last night that I’ve been dying to download for ages and ages. Rawk.

Finally, I have moved myself back into Davis and I am glad to announce that I have a stable internet connection. If you can wait just a couple more days I will be able to find a good postion for my webcam and will start to update the webcam pics on a regular basis. I have yet to be to any of my classes yet, but that will change tomorrow when I have to attend my physics lab. Stay tuned for updates!

I’m 85% moved into my apartment now, which means I’m 85% Happy As A Clam. I still need to hang the rest of my posters, but the place is feeling quite homey already. I’m pretty busy with work and trying to shop for the rest of the things we need for the apartment, but the cam has already seen a drastic increase in frequency of updates. Yay! All our duolab chatter people should work on getting their posts up to speed too, so that we have some nice fresh content laying around on this site. Oh, yeah, and vote for us whenever you visit! Well it’s almost time for me to go back to school, and as I sit here on the floor I have to take a look back at what I did over the summer.
Beach Trip 1: Great wholesome fun.
Anime Expo: HAHA, I saw a Domokun.
Las Vegas: Never go to strip club again.
Beach Trip 2: House full of drunk college students?
Yep, this summer has been a success.

Final countdown until I return to campus has begun. I’ll be leaving this city of boredom on the 19th and moving in to my on-campus apartment on the 22nd. I won’t be online from the time I leave until the moment I secure my net connection at school. Now I’m going to busy myself with preperations for the big move, all while fantasizing about being back on broadband.
