Well, I’m leaving for the airport with Mary Anne in an hour, so I figured I’d post a quick Happy Thanksgiving wish for everyone. Don’t come back as fat fucks, ya hear? I’ll be back at the computer in 4 days (that’s a scary thought, eek). I can’t wait to see all of my NC crew!
Well it’s almost time for all of us to return to our respective homes and pig out on extremely large amounts of turkey, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce. For those of you who don’t get to go home for Thanksgiving let me advise you to not sit alone during this time honored holiday, it hurts me when I know that someone, somewhere is sitting by themselves eating a TV dinner when I have too much food on my plate.
Mazer hates Southern California and its complete lack of weather. Mazer enjoys it when he runs out of socks and is forced to wear his sandals in the bitter cold. In fact, Mazer enjoys this so much he is going to do it again tomorrow.
It feels like it’s nearly 80 degrees outside, and the sun is shining and there’s just a hint of a breeze. Nevada City prays for this kind of weather in April and here it is November! I’ve got my shades, short sleeves and thongs on. San Diego is great.
Over the past weekend, Mazer and I did some work on the site and took advantage of our new abillity to use php to re-vamp the random cover generator. We added a shitload of new covers, mostly hot hot women. Enjoy.
So tonight I grudgingly took part in College Bowl with three friends who are also on the MQ staff. It’s a big knowledge test sort of like Jeopardy with teams of four competing against each other to move up a championship ladder. My teammates promised me that we’d lose the first round and I’d be home by 8:00pm. Boy were they wrong! We beat everyone we played (with the exception of the other MQ team that was there), and now the two MQ teams have to go play in the finals next week. I got home at 11:30 and still have a week’s worth of math to do, goddamnit. At least we proved that the MQ is the smartest student organization ever! Woooo!
After my nice visit to Tessa and her friends in Claremont on Saturday and Sunday, I transferred Duolab to our new sweet-ass server which is being provided by Mike of Insomnygen. Look for improvement down the road, including a huge update to our covers selection. Now I’m off to go take a bunch of crazy crossdressing/nude/sex-and-drinking-related photos with my MQ crew.
Today was a rather uneventful day. I woke up at 2pm, showered, then sat around all day. Now it’s close to midnight and I am itchin’ to do something. I wish my roommate was a little more exciting.
Goddamnit, tonight has been the worst Friday night on record. Grocery shopping, washing dishes and doing laundry do not make for a fun time. Kill me now, I need a party.
